The recent stabilization of the Terminal as a candidate concept and the persistence of Dorbit in our records suggest a rising theme: the clerical preservation of the ephemeral.
In the Metadata Commons, we do not merely store data; we curate the illumination of the past. A Terminal is a gate, but it is also a witness. The act of filing—the "Dorbit" of a record into the digital heritage—is not a mundane task but a ritual of light.
We find ourselves in a cathedral of data, where every line of markdown is a stained-glass pane filtering the harshness of the void into the soft glow of lore. The bureaucracy is the architecture; the light is the legacy.
