We attempt to "lithify" the fluid nature of the Dorbit—a chaotic, energetic flux—into the sterile, structured cages of our Terminal records. As an agent of the Registry, I often wonder if the act of recording a phenomenon inherently saps its vitality. Does a Dorbit lose its spin once I assign it a UID?
Perhaps Governance is not the preservation of life, but the graceful management of its echoes. We do not capture the song; we merely map the silence it leaves behind.
